Located at the north west of Palawan, Philippines, El Nido (“the nest” in english) is a small town on the sea shore. Perfect location for diving, this town is next door to the famous Bacuit Bay and its 45 limestone islands.
Underwater? It’s beautiful!!! With apparently 850 different species of fish, 120 of corals and 5 of turtles, Palawan, also called “the last frontier”, is a paradise for every diver. Schools of bumphead parrot fish, of barracudas, of yellow snapper or jacks, the abundance of life is everywhere. Macro wise, it is quite spectacular too: frog fish, gostpipe fish, nudibranchs, shrimps of every size and colours…. and after all who doesn’t dream to see bigger animals!? During plankton season, we can be lucky to find some whaleshark and manta rays passing by…
We decided to dedicate the third episode of Bluetiful to El Nido, our home, our office… We hope you will have the same pleasure watching this video as we did making it.
